You will start your journey from Tangier ( bride of the north) towards Chefchaouen, the” Blue Pearl ” of Morocco, where you will discover some of the most fascinating sites. It is a charming city that will captivate you with its beauty and charm, don’t miss the opportunity to visit it! Immediately after we will go to the city of Meknes to visit the Kara prison, which is considered a historical landmark, from Tamm we will travel to the Roman ruins embodied by the area of velili located near Meknes. After we have finished exploring this trail, we will head on a tour to the historical great Fez, which is unique from the rest of the regions in the manufacture of large tanneries where genuine leather is used to produce clothing, in addition to the old markets. All this creates the illusion that you are in a mystical world of ancient masterpieces. With all this we will lead you to the sand dunes of the Merzouga desert, so be ready to go on a camel ride and enjoy the amazing sunset. Take photos that you will want to keep. We will head towards the Todra fjords, then to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou located in Ouarzazate and we will finish this rest in Marrakech.
DAY 1: Tangier – Chefchaouan
You will start your 10 days tour from Tangier to Marrakech after meeting your tour guide at the Airport or the nearest point to you, then we will take you on a tour around Tangier city before you travel towards Chefchaouan, Enjoying the outstanding views along the Riff Mountains, we continue across the fertile plains of Tetouan see Oak, pine, and cork trees grow around the beautiful city of Chefchouan. after a while of driving you arrive in the city of Chefchaouan. a lovely town nestled against the Riff Mountains’ stunning background, full of white-washed cottages and unique alleyways. Chefchouan city was built in the Spanish style and is surrounded by a slew of quirky arts and craft stores. The city was painted blue by Jewish refugees who settled there during the 1930s. Go on a local tour around the city to witness the amazing landscapes. following that, you will spend a night at a terrific hotel where you will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and the silence of the city.
DAY 2: Chefchaouan – Volubilis – Fes
After having breakfast at the Riad, we drive across the Rif Mountains where you will explore the incredible sceneries of the place, then pass through small villages on the way to Fes. As soon as arriving in Volubilis [the best preserved Roman ruins in this part of North Africa, and UNESCO World Heritage site]. Volubilis was the administrative capital of the province of Mauretania, Tingitana in Roman Africa. It was founded in the 3rd century. Next, We will visit the whitewashed town of Moulay Idriss, a charming town nestled in the Riff Mountains. Following by a visit to Meknes city, we will visit the well-known gate Bab-Mansour, hang around the huge walls of city. After lunch, we continue our tour to Fes city where you will spend the night.
DAY 3: Exploring Fes city
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Fez with an experienced local guide. As we know that the city of Fez is the spiritual and intellectual capital of Morocco and has the largest ancient city in the world. The numerous monuments of the city have thousands of stories to tell visitors, the mosque of the villagers (the first university to be created in the world), medresa ponnania, tanneries, Artisan Quarters and magnificent markets are just some of the many places to see. Overnight stay in Fez city.
DAY 4: Fes – Azrou – Merzouga
Our tour starts from the scientific capital of the kingdom of Morocco, the city of Fez. We will try to wake up early to head towards the city of Ifran, known for its natural and fantastic beauty, we will spend a good time inside the streets of this city, nicknamed Switzerland Morocco. Then we will continue our journey through the Cedar Forest in the densely populated city of Azro, located in the mountains of the Middle Atlas. Most of the day will be spent inside beautiful forests, Springs, rough rock faces, and Berber villages while crossing the Atlas Mountains and starting to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Halfway through, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its excavations and rocks, then we continue towards Merzouga and enjoy panoramic views of a huge palm tree Oasis. After arriving in marzouga, we take a break with mint tea, after which 4/4 will take you to the desert camp, after a nice dinner, you will enjoy the starry sky all night in the Berber tent . Note: If you want to take beauty instead of 4 * 4 it is possible .
DAY 5: Merzouga – Camel trekking
After a tasty breakfast at your hotel, we start exploring Merzouga surroundings; Hassi Lbied, Tanamoust, and Khamlia where you will learn about Gnawa Music. Afterwards, we visit nomads in their woolen tents, you will have a chance to get to know more about their culture and traditions, then a berber pizza will be served for lunch. Next, we take you back to the hotel where your cameleer will be waiting for you to take you across the high dunes of erg Chebbi where you can rest and prepare for your camel ride journey through the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi, and wintess sunset Before nightfall . A delicious dinner will be served , followed by an incredible drumming performance.
DAY 6: Merzouga – Dades Valley
You should wake up before sunrise to enjoy the magic of sunrise over the golden dunes of the Merzouga desert. There you will see what distinguishes the Rissani area from the rest of the region culturally and historically. And if we have the opportunity we will visit the Fossil Museum in Erfoud. Then we will head directly to Todgha Straits to discover its beauty, enjoy its breeze, and take souvenir photos. Then we will enjoy lunch in the most luxurious hotels in Tinghir and take a break, then make our way to Oued Dades and there is a host of surprises waiting for you.
DAY 7: Dades valley – Ouarzazate
Today, we continue our tour through Dades valley when we will have opportunity to see thousands of mud Kasbahs on the way to Kalaat M’agouna. Then, we keep on driving to Skoura a famous city for its old mud Kasbahs one of them the famous Amerdile kasbah, a fortified kasbah situated in Skoura known for its historical archeticture. Next, head to Ouarzazate. Late Afternoon, we will reach Ouarzazate and spend the night at a Kasbah or a hotel .
DAY 8: Ait Ben Haddou –Marrakech
Goodbye to Ouarzazate, Hello Marrakech! After a hearty breakfast at the Hotel / Riyadh in Ouarzazate, we will head straight towards the Kasbah of Taourirt: discover Taourit Kasbah, a historic castle located on a hill overlooking the city. And then the Ouarzazate Studios: we visit the Ouarzazate Studios, where many famous films were shot, such as “Lawrence of Arabia”,” The English Patient” and”Jasser”. Here you will say goodbye to the desert. We will head straight to Marrakech High Atlas landscapes: enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains during your return trip to Marrakech.Kasbah of Tilwit: stop to visit Tilwit kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs in the High Atlas. Tizi Ntechka pass: pass through the Tizi Ntechka pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Then we will have lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in Marrakech. In the evening, you will arrive in Marrakesh City, known as the “Red City”.
DAY 9: Marrakech – sightseeing
Visit Marrakesh with its old city, its main historical monuments (tombs and mosques), kasbahs, the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the Majorelle de Menara gardens … We will realize that Marrakesh is the capital of tourism with the amount of foreign visitors or citizens that we find in its streets.
DAY 10: Last day of this tour
