6 DayS Imperial Cities Tour
Day 1: Marrakech - Casablanca - Rabat
You will be picked up at 08: 00 in the morning in the direction of Casablanca, we will make a short visit to the magnificent Hassan 2 mosque; a picturesque landmark of Casablanca with the tallest minaret at an altitude of 210 meters, after which we will leave Casablanca to head towards the city of Rabat along the coastline to the political capital of Morocco. The Kasbah of El Oudaya is the most important landmark that we will visit, because it is considered the most important historical landmark in Rabat, as well as a tourist destination with distinction. We will also enjoy the beauty of the Old City of Rabat with its beautiful narrow streets and small blue houses. Plus we will visit the Sheila cemetery where Roman and Islamic monuments are located side by side whispering endless stories of past centuries. We will end this day with a luxurious Moroccan dinner in one of the most beautiful hotels in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat- Meknes- Volubilis -Fez
After breakfast, you leave Rabat along the vast agricultural fields to the second imperial city of Meknes to take photos of the memories of the huge baby Mansour gate. Then proceed to the holy city of Moulay Idris. You will have time to rest in this beautiful small town before visiting the Roman ruins in Volubilis. Velili is a truly amazing place chosen by UNESCO as a cultural heritage site of mankind. We will head towards the great city of Fez in the evening of this day to spend our night .
Day 3: Fez Sightseeing
Enjoy a full-day sightseeing tour of Fez with an experienced local guide. As we know that the city of Fez is the spiritual and intellectual capital of Morocco and has the largest ancient city in the world. The numerous monuments of the city have thousands of stories to tell visitors, the mosque of the villagers (the first university to be created in the world), medresa ponnania, tanneries, Artisan Quarters and magnificent markets are just some of the many places to see. Overnight stay in Fez city.
Day 4 Fez- Ifrane- cedar forest- Ziz Valley & Gorge -Midelt- Arfoud - Merzouga
Leaving Fez with its great history, and we will head to a totally different part of Morocco. On the way to Arfoud we will pass through many Berber cities and villages, the first being in Ifrane Azrou. Ifrane, known as Morocco’s Switzerland because of its Beauty and Cleans,and Azrou is a Berber village known for its handicraft cooperative. We will continue via Midelt, the Ziz River and a series of fortified villages before arriving to Merzouga ( camel excursion and overnight in Bedouin tents)
Day 5 : Merzouga - Todra Gorge- Dades Valley - Roses Valley - Ourzazate
On this day we will leave marzouka to head towards the city of Ouarzazate, passing through the single reisani with its beautiful traditional market. After that, the area is rejuvenated by its very beautiful oasis, rich in palm trees, olives, almonds and many other crops, and after a few minutes we will walk through the Green Valley. Then we will head to Todra Gorge to see and enjoy the beautiful panorama of the mountains . After lunch at Todra Gorge, we continue our journey through the dads Valley and Kela Miguna (the capital of roses). Then let’s go to the Moroccan version of Hollywood. And we’ll spend the night in Ouarzazate city.
Day 6: Ouarzazate - Ait Ben haddou - High Atlas mountains - Marrakesh
Last day of our trip, we will start it from Ourzazate. Firstly as an information Ouarzazate word means in Berber literally ” without noise. It’s a very charming city. As Morocco’s Hollywood, Ourzazate with its cinematographic studios offers a great environment for a big films shoots such as Asterix et Obelix, Gladiators, Jesus of Nazareth…Ouarzazate is also has a beautiful Kasbah and a great history. In the magnificent Tourirt Kasbah and Tifoultout, we will continue our trip to Marrakech through the high Atlas mountains, and drop you off at your hotel.
