6 DAYS FEZ DESERT TOURS
Day 1 : Fez, Ifrane, Azrou, Midelt, Errachidia, Oued Ziz
At 7 AM our tour will start from the city of Fez towards the city of Afran . After arriving at Ifran International, we will spend some time exploring the city and what it has to offer. The city of Ifran is also famous for its beautiful cedar forests and French-style architecture. Leaving this city may be difficult now, all visitors wish to stay and live in it, because of its beauty and tranquility. But we can’t do that and we have to leave for a town that may rival the city of Afran in terms of forests and tranquility, which is the city of Azrou. The most important things we will do during our arrival Azrou is a visit to the Cedar Forest, which is home to a large number of Atlas cedar trees. In the afternoon we will head towards the city of midlet (Little Paris). After our arrival we will have lunch. Immediately after that we will head to Rashidiya to visit the Errachidia Kasbah. The Kasbah is a fortified palace built in the 17th century. Then we will get to the Ziz Valley, and enjoy the sunset over the river.
Day 2 : OUEd Aziz, Arfoud, Marzouga
On this second day, after breakfast, we will walk around the palm grove in an attractive sight. Then we will continue our journey to the international destination Merzouga, passing through the city of Erfoud, known for its fossil museums, we will visit some of them in order to get acquainted with the types of fossils and a bunch of surprises are waiting for you. After all this, we will get to the sand dunes Of Arij Chebbi. First we will relax and have a mint-flavored tea and take a shower, then we will take a walking tour over the golden sands and enjoy the amazing atmosphere
Day 3 : Reach Merzouga
Early in the morning we will travel inside the desert sand dunes towards the camp, where we will spend the night. Camels are the most important means of transportation to get there and there is no doubt that the experience of camel riding is the most famous and fun, Camel trips allow you to pass the golden dunes, feeling the rhythm of the desert under your feet. there is nothing like watching the sunrise on the dunes to start your day in style. As soon as you arrive there, you will relax a little and drink tea or juices, everything is available there and enjoy your time until the evening. As for the night activities, I will make it as surprise for you
Day 4 : Merzouga- ouarzazate
Adventures through the Draa Valley
It would be best if you waked up before sunrise to enjoy the magic of sunrise over the golden dunes of the Merzouga desert, before saying goodbye to Merzouga, say goodbye to the charming oasis of Merzouga, and setting off on the journey back to Ouarzazate. During this day, you will enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the Draa Valley, the longest valley in Morocco, where you will see green palm oases, lush groves, and traditional villages. You will discover the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a historic fortress in the UNESCO World Heritage list. We will also stop at a traditional village along the way, interact with the locals, and get to know their culture and traditions. In the evening, you will arrive in the city of Ouarzazate, known as the “gateway to the desert”, enjoy a relaxing night in a traditional hotel or riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 5 :Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:
Day five: goodbye to Ouarzazate, Hello Marrakech! After a hearty breakfast at the Hotel / Riyadh in Ouarzazate, we will head straight towards the Kasbah of Taourirt: discover Taourit Kasbah, a historic castle located on a hill overlooking the city. And then the Ouarzazate Studios: we visit the Ouarzazate Studios, where many famous films were shot, such as “Lawrence of Arabia”,” The English Patient” and”Jasser”. Here you will say goodbye to the desert. We will head straight to Marrakech High Atlas landscapes: enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the High Atlas Mountains during your return trip to Marrakech.Kasbah of tilwit: stop to visit Tilwit kasbah, one of the oldest kasbahs in the High Atlas.Tizi ntechka pass: pass through the Tizi Ntechka pass, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. Then we will have lunch at a local restaurant before arriving in Marrakech. In the evening, you will arrive in Marrakesh city, known as the “Red City”. Five unforgettable days.
day 6: Marrakesh City
Visit Marrakesh with its old city, its main historical monuments (tombs and mosques), kasbahs, the famous Djemaa El Fna square, the Majorelle de Menara gardens … We will realize that Marrakesh is the capital of tourism with the amount of foreign visitors or citizens that we find in its streets. And the time refers to the transfer to the airport, the end of the trip.
